Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what information QuickResume collects when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, treat the plainest reading as the intended one.

What we collect

DataWhere it livesWhy
Resume content you type into the Builder (name, work history, skills, etc.)Your browser's local storage onlySo your draft is saved between visits on the same device/browser
Resume text and job description text you paste into the ATS Checker or CV AssistantSent to our backend, processed, and not permanently storedTo generate your ATS match score and AI writing suggestions
Basic technical data (browser type, page visited, approximate region)Standard web server / hosting logsSecurity, abuse prevention, and understanding aggregate usage

Your resume data stays on your device by default

The Resume Builder saves your draft directly in your browser's local storage. It is not uploaded to a server just by typing it in or downloading a PDF/DOCX. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers, or switching devices will remove or not show that saved draft, since nothing is synced to an account by default.

AI features (ATS Checker & CV Assistant)

When you use the ATS Checker or CV Assistant, the text you provide (your resume content and/or a job description) is sent to our backend so it can be analyzed and a response generated. We use this data only to produce the result shown to you in that session. We do not sell this content, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising profiles about you.

Cookies & local storage

QuickResume uses your browser's local storage to remember your in-progress resume and basic preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated and the change will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted infrastructure providers (such as hosting and backend processing services) strictly to operate the site, under their own data-processing safeguards.

Your choices

Children's privacy

QuickResume is intended for job seekers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
